"Love means attention, which means looking after the things we love. We call this Stable Management."

Watch  real Certification Tests

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. is unique because it places equal emphasis on riding skills, horse-care fundamentals and team participation with good sportsmanship. These tests are given in an effort to recognize achievements and encourage members to gain confidence, independence and good safety habits in working with mounts, while developing into knowledgeable, competent, responsible and caring horsemen.

As the member’s riding skills and unmounted knowledge improves, they may take Certification Tests. These Certification Tests are based on Standards of Proficiency of The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., which describe a clear progression of skills in riding and horse management and provide opportunities for setting individualized goals.

Progression through the Certification levels starts at the local club level.  Each member progresses in their skills and knowledge at a pace appropriate for them and members set their own certification goals.  Learn more about Certification Levels below or visiting us online here.
